Is Grapevinee a personal CRM?
Yes. Grapevinee is a personal CRM for the people in your life, not a sales pipeline. In its own words: Grapevinee is a relationship management app that helps you remember people, keep context like notes and last touch, get gentle nudges when it’s time to reconnect, and make warm introductions with permission.
The name is spelled Grapevinee, with two e’s at the end.
What is a personal CRM?
A personal CRM is an app for keeping track of the people you know rather than your customers: who they are, how you met, what you talked about and when you were last in touch, so you stay in touch on purpose instead of by accident. CRM stands for customer relationship management; a personal one is for your own relationships.
How is Grapevinee different from a sales CRM?
A sales CRM is usually built around deals: a pipeline, stages and follow-ups, shared with a team. Grapevinee has no pipeline. Each person has a rhythm you choose, every 10 days, 2 weeks, month or 3 months, and their grape dims as it passes, so you see who’s fading while it’s easy to reach out. There are no streaks and no scores, and the people you add are private to your account.
How is it different from my phone’s contacts app?
A contacts app keeps how to reach someone. Grapevinee keeps why they matter: where you met, your notes, when you were last in touch and how often you’d like to be, and it nudges you when someone is fading. You can add someone by talking, scanning a business card or typing a line, and you check the details before anything is saved.
How do introductions work in Grapevinee?
You ask a friend who knows the person. Your friend decides first: the person you want to meet sees your request only after your friend says yes, and then they decide. A shared conversation opens only when everyone has said yes, and if someone says no, nobody is told who. Both of you need to be on Grapevinee.
Who can see the people I keep in Grapevinee?
They’re private to your account: other Grapevinee members never see the people you add or your notes about them, and Grapevinee doesn’t contact anyone because you added them. More on privacy and encryption is on the Help page.
Who is Grapevinee for?
People whose next step depends on who they know: a founder who needs warm introductions in the next few months, say, or anyone who wants to stay in touch with more people than they can keep in their head. It works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android or a computer. Example stories show how a founder, someone looking for a job, someone new in town and someone who goes to many events could use it.
